Meet Our Team

A Zanesville native, Tom graduated from Zanesville, High School in 1958 holding the office of Class President both his Junior and Senior years. Attending Bowling Green State University, Tom graduated with a BA in Business Administration in 1962. He was an active member in the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honorary Fraternity. Upon graduation, Tom was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army in the Military Police Corp with the 709th MP Battalion, Frankfurt, Germany until June of 1964 when he returned to the family business. Tom is currently active as a member of the Genesis Finance Committee and President ofThe Shinnick Education Foundation Board. Tom has also serviced as past President of The Zanesville Rotary Club, Zanesville Goodwill Organization, and Bethesda Hospital Association Board. He also served as a board member of Genesis Health Care System Board and Chairman of the Bethesda Care System Board.

A Zanesville native, Lynnell is a graduate of Zanesville High School. Following high school graduation she attended and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority. Shortly after graduation from Bowling Green she joined The Young Insurance Agency, Inc. along with her grandfather and father. Lynnell has served for the Heart of Ohio Girl Scout Council, past Secretary of the Zanesville Rotary Club and Young Rotarian of the Year, Genesis Health Care System Advisory board and Goodwill board member. She enjoys traveling, skiing, golfing, camping and cooking. Lynnell earned her Open Water Diver certification in 2019 along with her husband and youngest son, Rex. She is very active with son's high school sports and helped him form a school ski club. Her oldest son, Elliott, is a December 2019 graduate of The Ohio State University.

Pam Ufholz joined The Young Insurance Agency in February 1996 as a bookkeeper and is currently the agency's Office Manager. A lifetime resident of Muskingum County, she is a graduate of John Glenn High School, Zane State College with an Associate Degree in Accounting and Muskingum University with a B.A. in Accounting and Business Management. Pam received her Property & Casualty Insurance License in 1998, Life Insurance License in 2014 and is also a Notary Public.  She currently resides in the Norwich/Zanesville area with her husband Kurt and they have two daughters, Katie and Melissa.
